Building a Park for Cassidy

Mom, Judy, Jill and Keri flew in on Thursday and today we put them to work. This week is the Dinosaur Park Build in Bozeman. It will be a very large park built competely by volunteers. Jill, Judy, Mom and I went to help with the build and Keri took the hard job of babysitting Cassidy.

Dirtiest Birthday Party Ever!

Three Forks Horse Run

We went back to Three Forks to watch the annual horse run down Main Street. This time Dave & his friend Kory came with us. Cassidy was quite the little cowgirl and she had a blast playing with her new friend Rachel.

Picnic at a Waterfall

Okay. There might not have been a lot of water falling but it was still very pretty. We packed a lunch and hiked back to Pine Creek Falls. We only ran into one other set of hikers. It was great feeling like we had the world to ourselves.

Happy Easter

Yesterday we went to our first Easter Egg Hunt. Wow! There were so many people there! Cassidy had fun but she didn't have any luck with getting any eggs. I kind of thought that the egg hunt was for the kids but the other parents must not have had the same idea. We stuck close to the slide and the bouncy room so Cassidy was happy.

Today Cassidy had fun looking for the eggs and the basket that we hid around the house and she is all about the candy. I don't think that she has ever had a sugar buzz at 8:00 am before. Fun stuff!

Family Night at Moonlight

Cassidy and I went up to Moonlight Basin for Family Night. They have pizza and smores out by the bonfire. They have a run set up for sledding and inside they have arts and crafts for the kids. Cassidy had a blast with her new friend Rachel. It is almost embarrassing to admit but it was the first time sledding for both of us. We both loved it!

Sourdough Trail

We went for a hike on Sourdough Trail with Ryan and Hara. I can't believe how pretty it was! The sun was shining so brightly and the snow was so pretty. We hiked for almost 4 miles and Cassidy did most of it on her own. What a trooper!

Headwaters Park

We spent the afternoon out at the Headwaters State Park. It was in the 40's today and it felt so good to be out in the sun. We threw a lot of rocks in the river and hiked around looking for cool things to play with.

Happy Valentine's Day

Dave, Cassidy and I took an overnight trip to Yellowstone. We had a lot of fun playing in the snow. We saw wolves on Saturday and a moose on Sunday. What a great weekend!

Wild West Winterfest

Cassidy and I went to the Wild West Winterfest out at the Fairgrounds. Cassidy loved the petting zoo. She didn't like the "mechanical bull" nearly as much.
