Merry and Ken are out for their spring visit. We went down to the Grand Tetons and spent the night in Jackson Hole. The next morning we took a ferry across Jenny Lake and hiked up to Inspiration Point. Cassidy fell asleep in the backpack so the two of us didn't make it all the way to the top. We sat on a big rock and watched the marmots that were all over the place.
Dave and Ken climbed all the way and said that when they went over the top of a hill there was a moose with a calf that couldn't have been more than a few hours old. He said that the mama was too tired to even pay too much attention to them.On the way back from the Tetons we came up through Yellowstone National Park. We have had a pretty cold spring so far so there was a lot of snow left on everything. We saw a ton of Moose on this trip and one very large grizzly bear.
